Welcome to Compair! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Compair platform, including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Compair, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. Continued use of the Service after any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

3. Account Registration and Security

4. Use of the Service
You agree to use Compair only for lawful and intended purposes. Prohibited activities include:

5. Subscription and Payment
Compair offers a free trial and paid subscription plans. Details of pricing, document/feedback limits, and usage tiers are available on our website. After the expiration of a trial period, access to certain features (including publishing documents or receiving feedback) may be restricted until a paid subscription is activated. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Certain time-sensitive features—such as document uploads, feedback generation, or other usage-limited capabilities—may expire after a defined period and do not carry over unless explicitly stated otherwise. Referral credits are issued as ‘pending’ until the referred user becomes a paying subscriber. Pending credits have no cash value and may be revoked if the referred user does not convert. If you join a Team plan, billing is handled by the Team administrator. Certain account and usage information may be visible to Team administrators for management purposes.
6. Content Ownership and Licenses
You retain all rights to the Content you upload. By using the Service, you grant Compair a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and display your Content as needed to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for your Content’s legality and accuracy.
7. AI-Generated Feedback
Feedback is generated using machine learning models. While we strive for usefulness, accuracy is not guaranteed. You understand that:
- Feedback may be incomplete, biased, or inaccurate.
- You are solely responsible for any actions taken based on the Feedback.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store your data. You may request account deletion at any time.
